So today is the big day of the elections down South. I voted, (having a dual citizenship) and now I wait, patiently hoping and cautiously optimistic about the results. (Hoping they won't be as disappointing as the Canadian elections!)
The Fall semester is in full swing, in fact the end is approaching faster than we'd like really. Due dates and exams loom ahead. And for once I'm actually more apprehensive (though less concerned) about an exam for one of my options. I'm a biology major, and three of my courses are Ecology (Aquatic,Individuals and Quantitative) and my option is Religion and Science. Great class, not so great midterm. (woth 50%). Might be withdrawing from this one! (which would be a first)
Life is crazy, but good. I have an abundance of good friends, I'm busy in school and clubs and whatnot, and things progress as ever they do.
Nothing profound to say today, but I AM happy about the coming curbside recycling program in my city. (Which will hopefully reduce the insane amount of garbage that households seem to produce on my street!)

A little piece of paper with a picture drawn
floats on down the street 'till the wind is gone,
and the memory now is like the picture was then;
When the paper's crumpled up, it can't be perfect again.
